The claim limit is $2000/claim, and the aggregate is $5000.

No, you cannot use your plan immediately after buying it. The plan will be enforceable after 30 days from the date of the purchase. If a home warranty was purchased or given to you during a real estate transaction, then the plan starts during the closing day.
