ServicePlus Plans & Coverage

ServicePlus offers two plans with different levels of coverage plus a range of optional add-ons- the Gold Plan and the Platinum Plan.

• Gold Plan: Covers a range of 15 major systems and appliances.
• Platinum Plan: Covers everything that Gold Plan does plus five other significant appliances.

Add – Ons 

You can add on extra coverage to your home by investing in some optional items. Here, we have mentioned the additional items, have a look.

Note that the optional coverage can be purchased after 30 days of making the  first payment.

ServicePlus Coverage Limits

Your ServicePlus Home warranty comes with an aggregate limit of $1.5k per item included in the contract. Note that all home warranties include yearly coverage limitations of how much liability a company has when repairing and replacing covered items. 

Plan Exclusions

Apart from the coverage limits, ServicePlus Home Warranty also does not cover the following things:

• Pre-existing conditions (known / unknown)
• Cosmetic defects, rust or corrosion, lack of maintenance, misuse, sedimentary build-up, and collapsed ducting
• Missing components, lightning strikes, animal or bug damage
• Damage caused by natural calamities and acts of Gods
• Virus, bacterium, mold, fungus, and mildew related malfunctions
• Items declared faulty by the manufacturers or the Consumer Product Safety Commission

Note: There may be other exclusions to your contract; we recommend reading the fine print thoroughly.

Quality Of ServicePlus Customer Service 

ServicePlus Home Warranty has built up a credible reputation for providing quality customer service. Most customer reviews indicate a positive experience with their overall services, while some have registered complaints about their service workmanship.   

According to ServicePlus, their claims department and the online portal are open 24/7 to maintain constant communication with their consumers. They claim to organize and schedule appointments with technicians within two days under normal circumstances. 

While the appointments may take up to 4 days to be scheduled during weekends and holidays, ServicePlus may help you with quicker services at an additional cost if you require emergency service. 

ServicePlus Claim Filing Process

ServicePlus provides two methods to file claims– online or by calling the toll-free number (1-800-545-0402). When filing the claim, keep the below-mentioned steps in consideration:

• Once your claim is submitted, ServicePlus will assign a service technician in 2-4 days.
• When a technician arrives at your place, the technician will inspect the issue to determine whether the contract covers the item.
• You’ll be required to pay the technician service fees mentioned in your contract to fix the issue.

Note: ServicePlus has the sole and absolute right to choose a service technician to perform services. They will not reimburse you for any service performed without their prior approval.
